About the Event
SuperNova SuperString Spectacular is a virtual event featuring world premier music videos created by nine North American pre-college string ensembles. They showcase brand new, groundbreaking arrangements from SuperNova: A Suzuki Tune Explosion, Dr. David Cutler's genre-hopping re-imagination of Suzuki Violin School, Volume 1.
The audience will also hear from students, experience breathtaking improvisations by world renowned jazz violinist CHRISTIAN HOWES, and learn about the project. This one-hour concert is followed immediately by a talkback, where audience questions are answered by the composer and educators.
