Violin MELODIES, borrowed from Suzuki Book 1, contain notes and rhythms only. Students may mark their own choice of dynamics, articulations, etc.
Though performance is geared towards intermediate / advanced players (books 2-5 and higher), courageous beginning students have even championed these settings.
