I really liked the percussion, and the performance (at least in the video) reminded me a lot of the kind of music you would hear if you were watching a Hollywood film set in the Amazon. It's a very tribal feeling that I personally enjoy a lot. Although I can't say I approved of him sawing off chunks of the bass. It hurt me in a metaphysical sense. I can’t say I’ve ever played a string instrument as anything more than a gag (although I’d like to learn to play the violin sometime), but it doesn’t take a virtuoso to recognize that that man is pretty creative.
