Stravinsky and Halloween

Happy Halloween!  To celebrate and spook you, all at the same time, here’s a video that combines Stravinsky’s Firebird Suite  with macabre imagery, edited by Gilda Tabarez.  Just for fun.  Oh…and BOO!

While there are hundreds of thousands of great performances captured on tape, the music videos featured on TSM blog feature musical creations that are unusual, innovative, humorous, or otherwise “purple.” This collection is fun–perhaps a stress reliever or diversion at a late night bash! It also provides you with an opportunity to discover new and creative musicians.

I bought the book and it is absolutely fabulous! It’s really inspiring and motivating my current endeavors in chamber music. Thank you so much for putting these resources together for us – I can only imagine it was a labor of love. I’m telling friends.
